24.09.2008 - Kyiv- Oleksandr Sagan, president of the State Committee on Matters of Nationalities and Religions, held a meeting on developing bills concerning faith and state relations. The bills discussed included creation of the state ethno-national policy of Ukraine, developing of state-faith relations in Ukraine and on restitution of religious property to religious organizations.

According a press service report by the committee, Sagan has been preparing a round table discussion to define the principles interfaith relations. The round table will consider theoretical and practical dimensions, and a regional meeting of interfaith dialogue, experience of practical realization and defining factors of its development, and a meeting of the Expert Council on matters of freedom of worship of the State Committee of Nationalities and Religions. These events will be held on September 23, 2008.
