After burning down the church in Madhya Pradesh-police try to cheat

Ratlam Church Burning, Police tries to save the real culprits" Pastor Punia Dulia
Ratlam : Church burning at Ratlam district in Madhya Pradesh took a new turn when the police produced the watchman infront of the media at late night. The police says that the christian watchman, Mr. Noel Pare has accepted the crime. It is noted that in the morning (7- 9-08), police took the watchman for questing along with his wife. Later they released his wife. After a few hours police called a few Christian leaders to police station and said that the watchman has accepted the crime.
The mother of the implicated christian watchman, Mrs. Rosy Pare aged 55 said , (in an affidavit, Copy attached) that her son, daughter-in-law and grand child was sleeping at home when the incident took place. It was the police who woke up to tell him that the Church is being burnt. Se said it is planned work of the police to save the real culprit. She asked to release her son and daughter-in -law.
Christians seems to be very furious of the incidents taken place and the role of the police to save the culprits. Around fifteen hundred Christians lead by Pastor Punia Dulia marched to the Collectorate and submitted memorandum addressed to Chief Minister. He has demanded independent and high level enquiry into the matter.
Madhya Pradesh Isai Mahasangh has constituted a three-member committee to make an independent enquiry into the matter . The members are Mr. Arvind Netram, Susheel George , and Willams. The executive committee of the Maha Sangh Secretary Pradeep Luther said, " after receiving the reports Maha Sangh will decide further course of action. We expect report in three days."
The catholic bishops council spokespersons and coordinator of the Madhya Pradsh Isai Mahasangh Fr. Anand Muttungal said, "we are planning to set up an independent committee headed by Retired High Court Judge including journalists, social activists and religious leaders from various religions. The members will be declared soon. Police is trying to save the culprits and put blame on Christian community. We will not tolerate this attempt by the police."
