Ukrainian schools opened their doors to gay-teachers

07-09-2008

Homosexuals and lesbians of Ukraine now have the right to be teachers at schools and universities of the country. Officially they received this right in 1998, but the government didn't spread the news about it until now, reports Obozrevatel.com.

Ukrainian Psychologists think that the government should be very careful in allowing people with non-traditional orientation to educate children. "It is very dangerous when a teacher is open about his sexuality. Often kids start copy their teacher, especially if he or she is a good specialist and has an authority over them," says Alexander Gubenko, the editor of Practical Psychology magazine. Another psychologist, Roman Alexandrov, says: "In any case a person with non-traditional orientation will teach from his or her own point of view. Communication with such person is already a destruction of the family institute on the unconscious level of a kid."
