Negotiations Advance Between Holy See and Israel

VATICAN CITY, FEB. 14, 2010 (Zenit.org).- The negotiations between the Holy See and Israel are advancing after the latest meeting of the representatives of both sides.
The meeting of the Bilateral Permanent Working Commission, which took place Wednesday, continued the work on the negotiation of certain articles of the 1993 Fundamental Agreement between the Holy See and Israel.
A Vatican communiqué noted that "the talks were purposeful and held in an atmosphere of great cordiality."
It added that the commission's next meeting will take place March 18.
