Ukrainian Catholic Bishop in Canada Passes Away

01.09.2008 - Sakatoon, Canada- Bishop emeritus Michael Kuchmiak rested in the Lord on 26 August 2008. He was born in Ukraine in 1923 and eventually served as auxiliary bishop in Philadelphia, USA, and apostolic exarch in Great Britain, and his resignation from active ministry in the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (known in the diaspora as the Ukrainian Catholic Church) was accepted in 2002.
