Ilia II urged Georgians to every day prayer for bringing Abkhazia and S.Ossetia back

Tblisi, August 28, Interfax - Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II of All Georgia urged believers to pray for bringing Abkhazia and South Ossetia back and ask the Lord to bless Georgians.
"We should ask the Lord every day to bring Abkhazia and Samachablo (Georgian name of South Ossetia - IF) back," he said at a festival Assumption liturgy in Tbilisi patriarchal Sioni cathedral on Thursday.
Together with believers, Ilia II read a prayer for Abkhazia and South Ossetia, Georgia Online website has reported.
According to the Patriarch, "Georgians are rewarded with good nature, they can't harbor malice in their hearts and thoughts." Ilia II believes, those who bear malice "first of all damage themselves." He urged to ask the Lord to secure Georgians "from visible and invisible enemy and turn enemy in a friend."
"However, we must take a good look at ourselves. We often make mistakes, that's why let us ask the Lord to have mercy and forgive us," the Patriarch said.
He also said Georgian people were "strong in spirit, wisdom and physically, no enemy would break them."
